This policy covers thecalmhome.co and the services provided by The Calm Home Company. It explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

This is our general business privacy policy. Calm Home Sync, an internal scheduling tool we use to run the business, has its own separate policy.

What we collect

What you give us. When you book a session, request an estimate, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, and whatever you tell us about your project. For active clients we also keep notes on the work itself — scope, sessions, and scheduling.

What comes in automatically.Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, device, and pages viewed. This is standard hosting activity and isn’t used to build a profile of you. We also use Google Tag Manager to manage site tags.

We don’t collect or store payment card details on this site.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule your session
  • To provide organizing services and keep track of your project
  • To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups
  • To send invoices and process payment
  • To improve the website

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of outside services to run the business. Each receives only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • Motion — appointment scheduling and booking
  • Housecall Pro — customer records, job scheduling, invoicing, and payment
  • Quo — business phone, text messaging, and customer communication
  • Resend — sending transactional email such as confirmations
  • Google Workspace — business email and calendars
  • Vercel — website hosting

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our clients or team.

Photos of your home

We sometimes take before-and-after photos. We don’t publish or share any photo of your home publicly without your explicit permission, and you can decline photos entirely.

Cookies

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function, and Google Tag Manager, which may set additional cookies to help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep things

We keep client records as long as needed to provide services and to meet tax and business record requirements. If you’d like your information removed, contact us and we’ll do what we can, subject to records we’re legally required to keep.

Security

We use reputable service providers, keep access limited to people who need it, and protect accounts with strong authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what you share with us.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of non-essential email at any time. Just email us.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here, with the date at the top.
